If the only father and son combination you can come up with in Rugby League is te Leuileui's you do not have a clue so do not try to get smart.

Someone told me a while back that Oliver Gildart played centre/second row at Pats, occasionally 13 but does play 6 at school because he is the best player in the year.

Not sure how true that is though, but well done to all 8 Wigan lads.

Oliver Gildart plays right centre and Jake Shorrocks plays Stand Off at Pats under15's. Both have been on Scholarship at Wigan since they were 12.

Kyle Dempsey & Brad Lawrence are from Cumbria and have only joined Wigan under15's this year. Kyle is a scrum half, and Brad is a loose forward/second row.

Ryan Hampshire, Aaron Lewczenko, Lewis Tierney & George Williams are under 16's

George is a Scrum Half/Stand Off and is the son of Peter Williams (Under18's Head Coach Wigan). Lewis is a Full Back and is the son of the great Jason Robinson, both again have been at Wigan since they were 12.

Aaron play's Wing/fullback and is very fast and has been with Wigan for a couple of years. Ryan was brought in this year and plays Stand Off, he also played for England at under15’s last year.

Well done to all 8 who have been selected. There's a few more in the under15's who could have easily been selected as well.

Kyle and Brad are both products of the Workington Town scholarship programme, joined Wigan in September this year.

Both of them are top prospects who I have no doubt will do very well.

Yes, he plays fullback for Orrell St. James.
