| only saw the 2nd half which from what i have heard was far better than the 1st half showing
thought Graham, Fielden, Roby did ok,
I thought we let them run at us instead of meeting them with a fast defensive line
They did seem far bigger than us in the pack though and put some big hits on us in defence

| I like fielden he's one of the most honest players I've seen play. When he was in poor form when he signed for Wigan he made no excuses and just got his head down.
I thought he was very good for Wigan last year and I'm glad he made the tour as he was as good as most props apart from Graham and mozza.
I felt a little let down by him against the kiwis, I thought he'd be well up for it but he wasn't. Next week is make or break time for fielden to play international level.
Let's hope he shows the convicts the real stu fielden!

| Tried hard, but he's not and never has been the block-busting prop we saw at Bradford. People like Vagana and Anderson were the players who did the damage; Fielden was the ever-ready bunny who kept going and going with that superior energy and bumped tired players off. He's a hard worker; however it's no coincidence that he's never shown his Bradford form, because he's never had two 19 stone props doing what they did at Bradford to support him.
They all complimented each other, Fielden could do 80 minutes, Mcdermott was solid and that allowed Anderson and Vagana to rotate and take turns at mangling the opposition. He's never had that at Wigan, and that's why he's never looked the same player. He hasn't tried any less, he just hasn't had the players around him.
IMO.

| Personally I thought he was outstanding last season and a real leader, does a lot of talking on the pitch and very passionate. He was absoulutely over the moon at old trafford and the Fielden of old shone through at the back end of last season. Id expect a massive season from him next season and id definately keep hold of him.
Also looking at his stats, he made far more metres last season than any of our props.

| I think Stu has recaptured his form from his Bradford days, he looks as big and as strong as ever and i'm very happy that he is with us for another two years at least. I think people sometimes think when he was at Bradford he played like he did against West's in every game, off course he didn't, that was one of his best games ever but it's easy for fans of other teams to use that yardstick as the Fielden of old so that they can have a sly pop at Wigan.

Agreed. Can you imagine if Fielden played like this for a team like Huddersfield or Warrington? He'd be billed as the best prop in the league.

| From what i saw was that he knocked on the first two times he had the ball and gave a penalty away for a high shot. Not exactly laying the platform for a starting prop.Might make a lot of tackles but Doesnt make many yards .Not in the same league as morley ,peacock and graham.Id give crabtree a chance next week

Don't talk soft, comfortably behind Peacock/Morley/Graham.
Graham massively outplayed him at the weekend, Fielden was poor.

| I don't think any of the pack produced their best form against the Kiwis, which is a worry because that's our percieved strength and with such a young back-line we can't afford to have a beaten pack
