I always get a little worried when clubs do this, in theory it is a great idea, but why not stick to doing what has got us in this position in the first place. We need a relaxed confident team, it is possible to enduce catastrophe theory where the perception of the occasion and the build up can lead to players getting over hyped and have a negative effect on performance. It's a fine line to walk between getting the right level of arousal and going OTT. I would rather us go into this match like we have every other this year, as let's be honest it has served us well so far.

Pumped up like never before for this match. I've never quite felt like this before anything in all honesty. I'm nervous but excited and just proud to be a Wigan fan going to enjoy a day out at a final again.
Win or lose i'm having a good day in the knowledge that this is just the beginning.
