These threads are very annoying.

This is a forum for fans of all RL clubs. I can almost guarantee some of our fans will be on the Saints, Wire and Leeds boards as much as their fans are on this board; that's kind of the point of RLFans.

Of course fans of other clubs will be jealous of Wigan's past success, I'm sure as hell envious of the success Bradford, Saints and Leeds have enjoyed in recent times!

Part of the reason we may get 'special attention' is that Wigan fans manage to over react spectacularly to certain incidents (see McGuire's illegal tackle on Carmont), are easy to wind up, and reactions like the ones given to the news McGuire is out for the season won't get us many friends either.

People find Wigan amusing recently more then anything else.

Out of interest, who do most Wigan fans hate more, Warrington or Saints? Warrington or Leeds?

I hate rioters.

Don't hate any of them.

I work in Warrington, so that's a "special" relationship.

Saints is all about history, and there's a begrudging respect.

Leeds, only dislike them when we play them, and really don'y like McLemon. Preferred their "style" of play under Smith.

The only reason all this has flared up is because of the sheer hypocrisy of you all calling Danny McGuire a cheat when you've got Sam and Joel Tomkins in your team.

You finished top and had a good season. As such Wigan are in the firing line more than previous seasons. Look at all the stuff Leeds fans get fired at them week in week out. Success breeds contempt.

The reason your board has seen considerably more traffic is down to your team having played in, arguably, the biggest game of the league season so far. Throw in the atrocious comments yourself and others posted in the aftermath of the game and I think you have your answer. Although I do seem to remember that you tried to get, at the very least, Leeds fans to off over your Wigan team earlier in the season.
