| He must have pinged Radford for holding on about for or five times tonight, in union he would have most defiantly gone to the bin, The sin bin need to be used for what it was designed for, persistent fouling or tonights penalty countwill only become the norm

| Quote: Robbo4 "Or away at Wigan even? He is so inconsistant. Both teams were holding down but the difference was he had 13k Wigan fans screaming at him so was giving you the penalties. I noticed he gave us 4 or 5 penalties in the last few minutes to even things up, the one he gave to us for the Wigan player not playing the ball correctly just summed him up. Well played tonight though and a well deserved win.'"
He was awful for both sides, you guys were head hunting and that went unpunished, the Phelps/Richards forward pass issue was a joke as were many other things.
He isnt up the standard.

| We had him v Harlequins on the opening weekend, absolutely shocking!
He managed to take Myler out as Mathers was clean through and about to pass to him.
Gave a pass from a Quin that Solomona knocked back as a knock on, and
Gave a forward pass as Myler scored from a pass that was knocked by a Quins hand.
So in short we'd have been at least 12 points closer to you men on the points difference.
He couldn't referee Blockbusters.

Watching that at the moment. He has been excellent, backed himself with decisions as well, not hiding behind the VR.

I thought Child was very good when he reffed us earlier in the season. He actually consulted his touch judges!
He was also video ref for one of our games and he didn't spend half an hour on the decisions either.
I tend to agree though about being dragged down, our esteemed controller of referees will soon have him on the "little Hitler" training course.
It's interesting he has done so well because I am sure some of Leigh fans were posting on here he was totally rubbish in the NL.

I agree with this, he has bein excellent on Sky tonight and I agree re earlier in the year.
The problem is Cummings, how the RFL cant see it is beyond me.
The standard is going down week in week out and the boss has to be to blame.

| Sour grapes from Wigan fans here......
Oh wait a second we won tonight so that means that the refs actually might not be up to the standard we should see in SL???? That can’t be right cause only the losing team complains about refereeing performances don’t they?
I lost track how many times I’ve been furious with a ref last season only to have it dismissed as sour grapes on here by away fans.
The ref was shocking tonight but once again nothing will ever happen about it. I mean look at Silverwood’s performance in the Wire vs Wigan match and the week after he’s in charge of the WCC??

Hull must have given away 10-12 penalties for lying on before he finally had a word with the captain - then refused to give any more penalties for lying on, in case he had to grow a set and send someone to the bin.'"
Wigan were also lying on, but alas no sign of 10-12 penalties the other way.
Congratulations on the win your attacking play was impressive and you made full use of the possession and field position you had.

| My main concern re: the weak decision making of some referees is head high tackles seem to be almost accepted by some refs as long as they are deemed not bad enough.
I really worry that this will increase the risk to players and it will be only a matter of time before a career ending injury occurs. Players should be scared of punishment for poor discipline in tackles, not surprised when it occurs which seems to be the case now!

| It was a terrible preformence from Alibert tonight and even though the Hull fans probably feel hard done to they can think themselves quite lucky tbh. I've never seen a side as indisciplined as Hull tonight in a very long time and how at least a man or 2 didn't get put in the sin bin for holding down is beyond me. It was incredible stuff from Hull at times yet Mr Alibert didn't even half a word with the skipper.
The evening up of penalty count near the end including the awarding of a farcical try for Long really summed up just how bad this bloke is.

So were FC and if we want to get picky in the second half there were 2 choke holds on Wigan players right in front of the linesman on the West Stand side in successive tackles but the officials did nothing.
Both sides were as niggly as each other but the problem was Halibut didn't show some balls and bin someone and so both sides carried on.

Here here, this guy is a disgrace, the young lad on thursday night for batley Vs Fax was far better imo, granted its at a different level, but the rules are still the same, the RFL/Cummings, must get a grip and deal with this idiot

| I think half the problem with the ref standard is there are not enough of them for one reason or another. In football the ref is scored by the coaches. If they are deemed not good enough they are dropped to a lower division standard, A bit like our squad if your not good enough you get dropped. This should raise the standard of reffing.
