I would say pushed. He was offered a new contract on a much smaller salery.So he did not have much of a choice IMO . At the moment they got an amature coach looking after things. i presume on a very temp basis.I have been told the fitness training is great under the new regim, but the skills training under the temp coaches is dire and very amature. The lads going into the final year that have been under pendlebury for last couple of seasons think its awful.

If he would come back to Wigan.
He's done an excellent job at Halifax although he is now Director of Rugby.
Given his knowledge of the Champ league he would be a good man to know which players would be ready to go out of Wigan for experience to further their development.
