I would be embarased to be an English player if Westwood, Myler and Smith are considered 3 of the current best 17 English RL players. Ordinary, no presence(yet) and too small and not strong enough, respectively. Ellis shouldnt be centre ideally but as our Aussie coach hasnt got another half decent centre in the squad, no other option imo.

Nope.
Did you miss his try saving tackle on the line on Friday night? He has improved massively this year so far as his defence is concerned. I think his shoulder operation finally caused him to get his tackling technique sorted as he hardly misses one. He tends to go for the legs, given his size, and more often than not that is all that is needed. |
