And if he gad runners and options he'd be a sensation. Give me a great passer of the ball in a good team over a Burrows or Mcguire every time. People like Andy Greg would have looked poor in our team due to a lack of options, they'd easily be marked out of a game.

Funny how people here seem to overlook the underlying reasons to our poor attacking play, and seem to find it easier to blame it on one person.

exactly, smith is what we need, im sorry but to all these people who say he cant defend have a look at any good 6 or 7 thats ever played rugby league, there not good defenders, smith is the kind of player that gets to training and just want a ball in hs hand, not defend a tackle bag or players
