We are sitting ducks for the rest of the season now.

We have a coach who obviously doesn't look like he will be here next season, and whether he knew it or not everyone knows it now.

We have a group of players who look less than committed at the best of times so knowing that their current coach probably has no long term influence is not likely to improve this.

And our chairman does not fill me full of confidence as regards his transfer policy given sum of the cheapskates he has signed so far.

On the positive side our season starts in a couple ogf months.

I really don't get fans having a pop at this. We were on a budget thanks to the previous decision makers. we could have gone all out and bought one superstar but instead we tried to balance the limited funds around the squad. We made some mistakes and we'll learn from them.
Noble is going and maybe two or three of the water treaders will follow.

Awful managment to allow this to be leaked.

The challenge Cup is our only hope of success this season. Hopefully Noble and the players will go all out and put some effort in, in a vain attempt to attract suitors.

Tbh I have seen NOTHING from the new "Wigan Management" that fills me with any hope whatsoever. It's one embarassing foul up after another.

Lenagan has performed poorly thus far as chairman of the club.

To be honest, Mo's faux pas was somewhat more serious - it involved breaching the salary cap to such an extent that we almost got penalised into relegation.

Short of gagging people in both hemispheres of the world, I'm not really sure how we expect the club to prevent it getting out that they're in the market for a new coach.

Exactly if were after a coach and he declines the position and makes it public what can we do, I'm not that bothered this has got out, it would of course been better if it hadn't but I'm more ed about selling the mascot positions.

The same thing struck me. The NZ RL wanted to end any rumours surrounding their national coach so they made the story public. Also, his agent wants to make it clear he's available to coach in the NRL. There's no contract in place so I'm not sure how the club can stop them talking.

I'd doubt the story was leaked by Wigan, as others above have said.

We need a new coach so we need to speak to people. If the news is leaked at their end, there's not a great deal we can do about it.
