| I think for both clubs it was what they wanted.
Glesson was never settled at Wire, and Wire got Mathers and a chuck of £££, so both will be very happy.
But for us he's been a quality signing, but I'd still like to see Ansicough have a game at his side, Glesson is a fantastic support player, and with Ainscough braking the line for fun, it could be a big hit that partnership, but will Noble drop the mighty Roberts and take such a risk

| Yea been impressed. He's been more impressive defensively so far not done a huge amount attack wise but that will come when he gets used to the tactics/team. Links up well we some passing plays in the middle and shows glimpses of leadership on the field and tries to get the lads going when heads can go down. Few times last Friday saw him reassuring players and getting them pumped up.
Like someone said covered on both sides. Think Carmont needs a rest myself, are there any options if he is. Pryce?? Has he been coming along in the reserves?? If not any academy lads deserve a shout??

| Not quite clicked in attack with Roberts but the signs are there it will come, Roberts in my opinion tends to over run him the delivery or ability to hit him would be there if he stood a little deeper.
Defence has been spot on and all points to him being a quality aquisition.

| He's been good but not as good as people expected him to be I don't think.
All this 'good defensively' thing is crap and embarassing. If we wanted a good defender we could have got McAvoy again.

Swap Roberts with Ainscough/Richards.
People are writing Roberts off far too quickly IMO, he is a very good player and will be an asset to our squad.

'" Gleeson is a right sided centre and has never played on the left.
The thing with Gleeson is that he always puts the effort in. His defence is very good and give him quality ball and he will make things happen. If the team is playing poorly and not getting ball out to him, he is limited in what he can actually do.

Spot on.
We don't attack the right hand side much in all honesty so when people say Gleesons been quiet with ball in hand it's little wonder.
We generally attack down the left hand side due to that being Leuluai's, Hocks, Carmonts and Richards/Ainscoughs side so therefore the majority of our strike players.
The fact that between Ainscough and Richards they have 25 trys in all comps playing mainly on the left wing whereas Roberts on the other side has only 4 or 5.

Correct
Didn't talk about him playing on the left, he passes from left to right, which means he's known as left handed centre, thats how I was told anyway

| We dont use him in attack enough. We need to get the ball to him a lot more and get it to him a lot faster so that he gets the ball in spce. Then i think we will see what he can do, he has great footwork, can beat a man and also lay it on a plate for his winger. The last few weeks he's had to come inside to look for some ball quite a few times, this isnt good enough.
