No offence mate but not sure yet there is anything "to call", infact it is probably where the "story" originated.

Its only fair to admit as a BN sceptic that things have not gone well for me over the last few weeks. Obviously I hope that things continue to go badly for me and that in the end BN proves me completely wrong, with Wigan winning the 2009 GF, thrashing Stains 27-0!

I'm still worried though that we are all going to be disappointed come the end of the season (and possibly much sooner than that) ... I do hope IL doesn't do anything too rash... for me the jury is still out on BN, though a few more weeks of performances like we've had recently will convince the remaining Noble doubters I suspect...

Are we being pedantic here, or what?

His contract ends at the end of this year. He 'can' or 'may or 'will' see the fruition of his work by staying here until the end of this season. That comment doesn't in any way equate to Brian Noble being offered a new contract.

no it doesn't, its quite an ambiguous quote, read into it what you will. i have a said a couple of times on here not to get carried away with recent form. i also said i would reserve judgement when we have played kr and warrington. we have lost to kr, regardless of controvesy, and warrington are on the up. we have not achieved anything in our last four wins other than what should happen at wigan. you dont find leeds and saints wetting themselves over beating mediocre teams. its when you grind out results against gritty teams that will fight tooth and nail, whether you play badly or not. noble needs to go, he saved us from relegation but we have hit a wall and me for one am not satisfied with a 4 game winning run been the highlight of a season.

Given the conditions tonight it was all about the result, we came up short. The commentary seemed to suggest we played dumb rugby at times tonight, but i stand to be corrected on that. First test of our credentils first fail, next week now becomes massive.

In the mean time given IL is in Australia i would hope he talks to few coches t lest to assess there interest in the job for 2010 in order to get a view of the bigger picture regarding BN's future.

noble only knows one way to play. in this country with how the weather is etc etc we need a tactically sound coach who can adapt a teams playing style to suit any situation. kr have the best coach in super league in morgan imo. we need someone similar ( or poach him icon_lol.gif ) i am not anti noble but we need to move on and move forward.

I truly don't believe that is what he is refering to in terms of this season and anyone who does is imo naive.

I will be gutted if Noble gets a new deal.

Season tickets will decline rapidly if he does IMO losing out on money as well as having to put up with same old same old next season.

Think about what your doing Lenegan.

I agree.

I would never not renew my season ticket but I know many that would just not bother and I wouldn't blame them.

Over the three years he has been here we have not been good enough. Simpleessss.

Well if this deal goes through can we expect the club to sell a 6 week season ticket for £40 starting in September? icon_rolleyes.gif
