I like having Tez and Barrie Mac on. these two along with Carney and Phil make me chuckle No end. i especialy love it when Eddie or Stevo make some outrageous claim that has scant regards for the rules of the game, only for Phil to rip them to shreads with his Knowlage of the rules.

My fave Tezza quote was a few years ago and IIRC it was a Hull FC game.
Hutch Mavia (i think?) ran the ball in knocking someone on their backside. tez then came out with "I tell you what hes a big lad aint he, if i found him in bed with our lass i think i would tuck him in!"





If Brian was to become a more permanent fixture then it it could only be for the good of the game, He is Witty, Intelligent, has a good understanding of the game. add to this he (may) have credibility with the RA RA's wich could help with expansion in Wales and werever the RFL decide to ambush next.

I am also reliably informed that he is a bit of a hunk, and female types find this quite alluring. i reckon he looks like captain caveman though.

He was good in his role, should be used more IMO.

Why not? It’s how he speaks. I would much prefer that than some plumy sounding fake.

Part of the appeal for me is that they are both ex pros (tough ones at that) who wore their heart on their sleeve during their playing days. They are passionate about the sport (Barrie Mac’s enthusiasm in particular) and are always humorous about their club loyalties and can take (and deliver) a joke. About their supported clubs (unlike the Blue haired one!).

They work well with Clarkey and Brian C and I enjoy listening to Dave Woods commentary also.
