Yeh Sam would be in the Tower Of London by now if that had been him - I never want Wigan to win anything however I'll defend Sam on several fronts - O.K so giving the V's wasn't the cleverest thing to do - I find the OTT reaction to it rather nauseating (especially as some of those are the same people who give V's to opposition supporters and players and who's every other word begins with F). Today he attempts to prevent a try with his feet - Lee Briers reaction was pathetic to say the least. Incidentally Paul Wellens did the same thing for years.
Now if Hock is found guilty of eye gouging he gets what he deserves.
Does this really mean Wigan go out to win at any cost? Does this mean that Wigan defensive tactics that are slowly being copied by most teams in Super League are somewhat against the spirit of the game? Does this mean that Michael Maguire and Sam are the devil and the anti christ?
I'm not so sure in all honesty. |

Tomkins tried to stop the ball from being grounded.
I've got nothing more to say about the Hock incident. If it was deliberate he deserves what ever comes to him. I'm not 100% sure it was though |
