Quote Ruddy Duck="Ruddy Duck"Of course, the same handful who think there is nothing wrong at the club have to reply with their normal arrogance and sarcasm aimed at anyone who dares to say that things are not right at what used to be the most famous Rugby League club in our game playing in what was the biggest Rugby League ground on our side of the Pennines.
How times in Wigan and indeed the level of supporter have changed!'"
And once again you completely miss the point, and fail to answer any questions put to you.
What do YOU suggest we or the club does?
Seeing as Leneghan is the majority share holder and it appears its him you want rid of the way I see it we need someone who has approx 100million plus who wants to buy it off him.
Until you can give me the name of the person who is actually going to do that, and not some mythical person or you just throw the name out of a hat of someone who has 100million but you've no idea whether they are willing or want to buy the club then your trundling out the same old rubbish over and over again.
Its like an old person's version of a toddler having a temper tantrum.
I was there in the 70s, I was young but I remember getting hammered every week, being a laughing stock, having no money, buying absolute crap or letting the next person who had half a decent game I the ken gee cup have a game.
The game was awful, we were awful.
Maurice (in the main) dragged wigan out the doldrums, but it didn't take 5minutes, it took years. But he did it before anyone else tried to do it.
Now everyone is pretty much professional, well run to a point etx.and there aren't those easy gains to make where we can still a 10yr march on everyone.
The current owners are hamstrung unlike how Maurice was with salary cap etc. And other external situations.
That may be the fault of the game, the rfl, the owners whatever.
End of the day, what do you suggest the club does?
