| Quote: Phuzzy "This would be your mate who's accompanied our players to many unsuccessful appeals, would it?
I've done a double check and you can't challenge the grading per se. Only the severity of the punishment if deemed excessive as already said elsewhere in this thread. It actually specifically states in the rules that the first appeal allows for grading to be challenged but doesn't in the second. You also have no recourse to challenge guilt in the second as you also claimed.
Even if we agree I was right, albeit for the wrong reason. That'll do.
You, on the other hand were just wrong.'"
Show me exactly where in the policy and the definitive Operational Rules Policy where it says this. Just wondering where you are doing your checking that you refer to.
As an aside I’ve no desire to argue all day with you on here and I’m pretty sure everyone else is sick of reading the back and forth so please take to PM if you want to continue this.
If it’s in the policy and I’ve missed it as you infer then I’ll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. This is my last post on this thread about it so will carry on in private if you so wish.
My apologies to everyone else caught up in this.

| Potentially opening up an old debate here but I see Micky Mac has been cleared to play on Saturday, after a successful appeal. It’s only fair to mention that, given we discuss Saints bans/appeals. I think it adds weight to people saying we need to stop rolling over and letting our belly be tickled. That MM challenge wasn’t much to write home about but it was comfortably worse than the Kaide Ellis one against HKR and we didn’t appeal that. I’ve said before, Saints would help themselves by stop making so many iffy challenges but we definitely look to be a bit soft and don’t want to rock the boat when it comes to appeals.

| Whilst Peet has quite rightly lauded O Neill as one of the best young players in SL in his press conference, it’s also refreshing to see him give huge credit too to Delaney. I’ve mentioned him on here months ago as a real standout and someone with huge potential to be playing prop at 19 and not looking out of place.
I know Hill has been good too but Delaney has played way more minutes this season.
Well done to Peet for his comments.

| Two brilliant teams on display tonight, playoff intensity.
Think Saints got the bounces of the ball tonight and it could have easily gone the other way

| That was play off intensity tonight. Leigh surprised and impressed me with their ability to compete at that level. I think they have more to say in the comp this year.

I agree on that. Watching the Academy last week Stu, I am not convinced that Noah Stephens will make it, I know that may not be a popular view but he looks too cumbersome to me.

Business end of the season the MRP has altered its approach over the last few weeks, less suspensions more fines.

I don’t think it’s that this week. I think it’s more the comments from Salford and the real push through social media of fans from all clubs pleading with them to show sense.
That Saints v Leigh game had everything- biff, intensity and some real hits. You only had to see the reaction on Twitter from fans of all clubs loving the game.
I was fully expecting lots of bans to be handed out yet no one has been banned. If Watkins high tackle was a yardstick then I expected Percival to cop a ban.
I genuinely think this week has made the whole process have a long and hard look at the system.
