Well it seems that all the wigan fans on here are saying we are a given in the next round and rightly so; i think but we can always dream.On the other hand if there match against us is a given wouldent it be fair to say we should beat Lezignan fairly easy.I will state we should beat them by about 30 points.And then hopefully give u some sort of game i cant wait for it

Houghton’s been getting better with every game he plays. It’s a pity he’s broke his hand. Hopefully he’ll be OK for the CC game against you- if we make it.

Due to our injuries, 11 and counting, he’s still been playing despite his injury. He’s obviously a tough lad. I wouldn’t like to play RL with broken bones in my hand.

If its widnes away just hope price the game rightly to try and get a decent crowd, like at leeds v blackpool game thet are charging 10 pound adults standing and 12 a seat.

Im sure we will take plenty, id say at least 3,000. If Widnes fans turn out in their numbers im sure there will be a big crowd. Im due to fly to Tenerife 2 weeks today but with this ting volcano ash I will probably be in Widnes instead!

Nothing like this but IIRC there was a worry (among some fans) that there would be a fixture clash with Latics (with us at home to Salford in round 6) and that we would have to give up home advantage again. It was because they may have had to rearrange a PL fixture (v Man Utd) due to Utd's progress in the FA Cup and Champions League with that weekend being the only option available. The problem never occurred though as Man Utd lost to Fulham in the FA Cup so Latics didn't have to rearrange their game.

United beat Fulham, so it meant Latics had to rearrange the game instead of playing it the same weekend as Wigan v Salford.

Well we sold out last time we played Widnes in the cup in 2007 and that was televised. I couldn't even get into the Wigan end despite having a ticket for it!!! Had to sit with the Widnes fans!
