Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Other fans say we overate him, tonight proves we don't.
He was fantastic in every aspect of the game. One of the best half-back performances I have seen all year.
If he does not get young player of the year it will be worse than when Trent didn't get it.

They'll give it to Roby after an investigation into errors at the department of births marriages and deaths show up the fact that he is actually only 4 years old. |

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.

If Wire are willing to offer £200,000 or something like that for Myler then Tomkins must be worth about £500,000 if anybody wanted to offer. Atm he would walk into any SL side and should be playing stand-off for england in the 4 nations.

Tomkins is the sort of talent we've been looking for ever since Kris Radlinski retired. He's just sublime every time he catches the ball. I cannot wait to see how his career (at Wigan!) pans out - you see so much "Shaun Edwards" in him.

That sort of individual preformence has been coming from Sam for a good few weeks. He's been immense for us and is always a threat but the amount of times he just gets pulled down on the halfbreak is huge but tonight they couldn't touch him.
It was an outstanding preformence from a potential world class player.
As for all the sniping he gets from opposition fans..............keep it coming.

I am glad you are show how good a player he is in your posts, most other fans say they hate him or cover his quality with jealousy. |

All of us that watch the reserves knew Sam was ready mid-way through last season [Whitehaven in the cup anyone?]. The fact is Noble has been forced to play Sam and would not have done had he not had to. If Tim Smith would have been back for the playoffs Sam would be dropped either to the bench or the reserves. |
