However IL wasn't quite correct, both figures are to a maximum of £50K per year unless the rules have changed again, so it's a £100K allowance for O'Loughlin once he completes his 10 years.

Still frees up a decent sum off the cap to bring someone in though, i.e. a replacement for Carmont, especially if Hoffman does go back to the NRL after this season as well.

McIlorum has also re-signed on, I think, a two year deal which IL didn't mention.

I just feel the club is better managed now than at any time I've been watching the team.

DW's last year as owner the losses were £720k, last year a profit of £108k. That's done in only three year's ownership by IL.

Didn't that change recently? I'm sure it changed to 8 years service = 50% counted to the cap and 10 years service = 0% counted towards the cap.

Does the rule only apply to one player per club. For instance what if you had 2 or 3 players at a club who all have had 10years or more service will it be 3 x £50k off the cap?

The complaint was to the effect that it's usually too loud and you can't tell what they're saying half the time - quality of the sound system was the problem.
