Quote: bedfordwarrior "Three great wins, and performances in a row. Energy and intensity has been tip top and got the rewards.

Look I'm sure every team is thinking similar sentiments currently, but best thing for me is I genuinely think there is loads more that can come from us. Few players out, and a fair bit still not clicking and sometimes not turning dominance into points. If we can just put the finishing touches to the standards we've been setting in recent weeks then oooof.'"

If Field and French can just work on not only their pass execution, but their patience and picking when to throw them, we’ll be an unbelievable threat. It’s tough conditions tonight, so the lack of execution can be forgiven but there were a few times when French could’ve just held it back a little and continued to build pressure. It’ll come with better weather, more games back in the fullback shirt and as and when him and Field are in the same team and build those relationships.

You wasn’t watching the same Farrell as me then. He took the ball up in every set Wigan had.

Faz is a machine but I do sense he’s carrying a bit of something. Not that he’s not playing well enough but he looks just shy of his usual Herculean, freakish, sub human best. If there is something, there will be a decent opportunity to rest it against Wakey. We can’t go with too many youngsters but there’s a chance to give one or two a go and rest a couple of lads, who have run their blood to water these past few games.

I understand that he won’t play for a few weeks. We wIll miss him but time for the team to step up. Ellis seems to be picking up. Hill/Nesemba to pick up the gauntlet.
Great result.

I think that’s a wise move tbh. I’m not a fan of players pulling out of international duty but if he’s not right, he shouldn’t be risked against France (we need to look at a few younger players anyway) and that would give him 3 weeks now before our game against Hull. We’ll see how we go with the disciplinary but we could have KPP, Isa and Smithies available for next week and Nsemba looks due a shot. Pretty excited to see what these young lads can do as and when the chances come.

Quote: fez1 "Well I was not expecting 3 backs on our bench!

Unless there's an unknown injury I didn't think we'd see Russell.
(Duftys rumoured hand issue?).

Expect big minutes from Vaughan, Kasiano and McGuire.
Interchanges will revolve around 13 I guess with Matautia and Clark.

Then again - what do I know.'"

Probably more than that dour bar steward Powell.

Quote: CobraCraig "I think that’s our best performance of the season, the scoreline flattered Warrington but they could have a case for wanting the video ref to have had a closer look at O’Neil being offside and I thought Minikin got a try at the end. 3 great performances built from pure intensity after what was a mediocre at best start to the season, I’d be inclined to rest a few next Sunday, Hill, Nsemba, Forber and Sutton all to have a run out for me.'"

I agree with the first part of your post, but not the second element. I am happy to let the young guns have their heads but not too many at once.

On a dry patch we will hand out a few hidings.

Quote: CobraCraig "Miski is a solid winger who is great running the ball out, he’s a little barrel of muscle and makes good yards, he’s a great 3rd choice winger but I’m not sure he’s the best use of a quota space so presume he will be let go when his contract finishes?'"

I am not sure that you are right about Miski being our third choice winger. We have definitely seen the benefit of French moving away from the wing. French’s yardage out of defence is poor he is much more suited to playing fullback. It is no coincidence that our three quarters are now making far more yardage. Having French and Field, who are first class players is a luxury. We only need one of them.

Good turn out from your fans and hope there was no scrotes to spoil your journey hope.'"

Wigan were far the better team. We have showed the rest how to beat you. To be honest, I was confident of the win after your performance last week.

There is nothing wrong with Faz.
