Bibby having a shocker, from his terrible first half attempted pass to faz to the pathetic attempts on Hurrell

For too long, particularly at Wigan, the centre position has been farmed out as some alternative home for under-skilled, meat-headed second rowers or for a limited winger like Bibby to just chuck his body about. It’s a dead position at the club unfortunately.

It's tough to single him out, but he's definitely out of his depth at this level, and this game is underlining it. Sorry to say, but he's never really been Wigan standard. If we want to upgrade to a point where we can give the current Saints team a tough test regularly, there's no room in the 1st team for players like Jake.

I don’t think it’s as bad as some are saying, we’ve competed pretty well I think, although the momentum swung to Saints in the last 10/15. The Lomax try I thought was a forward pass from Hurrell and we bombed a certain try in the second minute, the scoreline could be in our favour.
I do agree it might be worth swapping Bibby for Bateman in the second half, maybe even Miski and French?

Can’t fault that first 20 other than the dreadfully awful error from Bibby. After that, our interchange lost us any momentum. We brought Mago on to be on the front foot and he spent more time defending.
