Enlighten me then because I am absolutely p!ssed that Wigan are down a top quality centre that we paid 100K for who now has a Super League contract and Hull FC have a top draw British centre.

I don't know the truth in all these dubious rumours, but on the cold hard face of it we've been screwed over.

Were the only real losers from this situation IMO. The only saving grace from this being I hear Gleeson was a disruptive entity at training, and tried to lead other players down the slippery slope that he was on.

TBH I'm struggling why some are feeling hard done to with regards the Gleeson situation. The club will have known he would likely sign for someone else pretty soon after and will no doubt have taken that into account in terms of the conditions of his release from the club.

Given the club forked out for him and realised what an important player he was, you can draw your own conclusion why they were still prepared to release him. Given the situation, no club would have paid a transfer fee for him or swapped any decent players we would want.

To re-unite Long and Gleeson they are not just mad but absolutely barking! Good player, yes, but.......................

didnt Hock admit to taking cocaine on a regular basis before he got caught, and he would no doubt still be taking it now had he not been caught out.

So we let him go due to a minor disciplinary problem, injuries and so he could take some time away form the game to sort himself out.

So now he's signed for Hull the injuries can't be a problem and he's not taking any time away from the game. So that leaves minor disciplinary" problem as the reason. We may even have paid him compensation.

If so we have paid out to strengthen another team and could not deal with the minor issues he had. Or the press release from the club was another complete waste of time and those were not the reasons at all.
