totally agree with memony. Fair enough, pay your money to keep the seat for 5 years but at least have the decency to let someone else have it if you don't want to. $¤|¿ System IMHO

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Only the RFL could allow two teams to compete both wearing the same colours, crazy.
It must be Leeds for the grand final, now, sort of one each.

It's late and I'm back off ou so can't be bothered reading through the thread.
Richie Myler was dropped from the squad today as we all know.
Apparently after being dropped by Tony Smith for the Challenge Cup semi he greeted his boss after the game with a hearty 'F*ck Off!'
And that's the reason he wasn't in the 17 today. That's from a VERY good source.

Noticed a few empty seats but was too intrerested in the game. Maybe on tv you have more time to pick out empty seats.
The tickets on general sale sold out. It was a sell out. If Club Wembley members don't want to turn up then that's up to them. From what it said in the programme; 72,000 general sale tickets sold, 90,000 capacity and 85,000 on. So 13,000 Club Wembley members wanted to watch the rugby league Challenge Cup final.

That club wembley is an embarrassment. It should only apply to football in my view. About 10% turned up today, if that. There was quite a few empty seats around me. Although maybe thats because I smell?

Memony has already come up with the right solution. The final sold out around a fortnight ago, we certainly would have had another few thousand in the stadium had the Club Wembley tickets been available (those who didn't want to go). |

I didn't think Wire were at all awesome - just that Leeds were worse. Wire's completion rate, especially first half, was dreadful, and only shocking tackling (plus refereeing errors) enabled them to score so many.
Only Mathers could attempt to catch a ball with his ar$e, though! |
