After the 5h1t and bile we've had in the last 24 hours because Wire have made it to a final for once in their lives quite easily mate. Saints are our biggest rivals yes, but in terms of hate stakes your lot are easily the most hated solely because so many of your fans are like the abovementioned idiots!!

Couldnt beleive the scenes after the game yesterday.....wires behaving like l@tics.... shows what an inferiority complex you have when you make your first final for 20 years and rather than actually be estatic about it your more pleased that you can throw $h1t at wigan fans!!! Unfortunately most teams have a small minority of idiots, who, after a few sniffs of beer, suddenly think they are Mike Tyson.

In that situation theres not much you can do about it rather than walk away, otherwise you stand up to it and cause riots!!

Actually didnt see any yesterday....despite an overkill of them at st helens last week. Perhaps that was the problem.....if police were needed for an RL game they are more likely to be needed at a semi final where one of the clubs playing already have a hooligan element, are playing their biggest game in 20 years, at the ground of their biggest rivals and against a club whos shadow they have lived in for the last 25!! Yet there was little or no police presence! Stupid decision in itself!

Quite simply, any idiots who cause trouble in the name of their club should be sent all the way to Hades, and let the rest of us enjoy the game in peace.

I always enjoy a nice chat with other teams' supporters. I was ashamed to be in the south stand during the saints game when Kyle Eastmond was getting abused by some real bigots. I came so close to yelling at them to shut the hell up.

I feel ashamed at the thugs who cause trouble at rugby league games; not needed, get rid and let all us true fans enjoy the game.

What a thoroughly depressing but predictable thread - team gets well beaten so an attempt is made to grab some sort of moral victory by labelling opposition fans as crazed lunatics. Thanks to the sensible people who acknowledged that Wigan have just as many tool pipe supporters as Warrington and that yesterday was pretty uneventful off the pitch. Quite the opposite on it...

Was talking to Wigan fams before the match and after. They wished us all the best for the final.
I have written on other threads about the vicious element of Wire fans, especially at away matches, and my reluctance to be associated with them.
However, friends who were in the West stand told me that there was a small group of Wigan fans who were clearly out for trouble at the end of the game.
So accept that all clubs have their drunken idiot element and move on.
I am off to Wembley by chartered train where there is a no alcohol rule. That suits me.
