Quote Leyther_Matt="Leyther_Matt"Can those half-backs really command a game though? Thought Eastmond was a rabbit caught in the headlights on occasion tonight, although a lot of that can be put down to a massive lack of protection from his forwards, especially on the last tackle.
Fair play to Tomkins though, certainly a stand out player behind a pack that bossed the game IMO.'"
Similar to Sean Long when he was a youngster starting out, but the potential was there for all to see. Eastmond is by no means perfect, and he has a lot ro learn, but the best way to learn is being out there and playing at SL level. He's a rough diamond, but even an idiot wouldn't deny that he is something special. Same with Tomkins, I would say he's a way ahead of Eastmond at the minute, but they both are very exciting prospects. Eastmond's eye for the gap at his age is exceptional. A little more decisiveness and experience and he will be through those like a shot.
