| Really good win in the end. We looked lacking in defensive energy In the first half but that was sorted out second half.
Pleased to see Eckersley and Hill get a chance and both went well I thought. Walters is turning in to a real weapon from the bench.

| I agree regarding Walters, he has shown some good form since he reverted to a prop.

They marched us down the pitch for fun in the first half, great second half, hopefully that's got Vegas out of the system now and we're ready for a big game next week, Hull are looking much better now than a few weeks back. They did on Thursday but they will need to improve substantially to beat Wigan.

| Great crowd today, was there a lot of free or discounted tickets given out? 17 and a half thousand with hardly any away fans is good going

I'd imagine the North Stand were freebies, maybe NHS, usually do that a couple of times a season

| Just a game where the win is enough though we played some nice stuff in the 2nd half. Huddersfield aren't a bad side and fingers crossed Luke Robinson gets some better luck with injuries.
That second 40/20 from Smith was incredible.
Jai Field has taken it up a gear this season - still have a strong feeling he's hoping to catch the eye of an NRL club for 2026.

Field seems a bit more physical this year, seems to be bouncing off players and opposition defenders are finding him a lot more difficult to contain. It isn’t massively noticeable but I guessing he’s put some muscle on, I do think he’s lost a tiny bit of pace though.

I think he is now fully fit, hence he is playing with confidence.

| Some have said (wonder who) that Field cannot pass or tackle well the tackle on Swift to put him into touch and the miss out pass for Marshall to score say's otherwise.
Back to is best now.

| It felt like Field was carrying niggles throughout last season and was playing within himself. As soon as he looked to go at full throttle in the cup final, he got injured (but had a great game). Hopefully he is fully fit now and can stay fit because if he keeps playing like this, at the same time as French and Smith playing as they are, it's going to be a tough side to beat and also we'll be in for a really entertaining season. We've gone from scoring no points in that first game, to playing some scintillating stuff over the last 3 weeks.
