League Leaders
Grand Final
World Club Challenge
Challenge Cup
All in Wigan. An incredible achievement.
Finals are all about winning. We never looked like losing that. I think Peet was spot on again to name 3 props on the bench. Our big edge over teams at the minute is our pack. Non stop for 80 minutes. There's no drop off when there's a substitution and it eventually tells and then Field/French/Smith and co find a way to open a tired defense. Props win pots and ours are the best in the League and we have the best depth in the league.
As fans we can easily get carried away and I'm possibly in that moment when I say this but Matty Peet could very well go down as our most successful coach in our history if we carry on at this rate. There's little to suggest we won't be seeing us in more finals picking up more trophies over the next few years.'"
Don't forget the MOS too

| Dominant performance that I wasn’t expecting. Wire were flattered by the final score I thought. I missed my first final since 1990 today because I’m on holiday in Turkey. Enjoying it but not in the same way you do when you’re there.
Enjoy everyone, I know I am!

| Totally professional performance, probably not one for the neutrals but can't say I'm all that concerned about that.

| So many positives to come out of today.
1. The grind - although Dufty scored, Warrington had nothing left to give and looked physically shot. We are just horrible to play against with the intensity we seem to maintain in game.
2. Eckersley - important we have the pathway into the team that Peet talks about and I’m glad he didn’t shove a second row in as he would’ve done in the past. Didn’t seem in any trouble at all and will hopefully go on to be a mainstay down the line.
3. Smith AND French - cemented themselves as the best pairing in the game over here now they’ve done it in the big games so consistently.
4. Miski and Marshall - Can’t wait to see their stats, they took us upfield more than I think I’ve ever seen them do and gave us the platform for Smith to control the game.
5. Thompson - The Rolls Royce of props we hoped we’d signed. Special mention to Cooper, that run in the second half carrying Warrington players on his back was some effort. I don’t think Hill offers that impact through the line yet.
I don’t think we’ll ever look back on it as a classic but it’s got a special place in history with us having all of the trophies in our possession. Hope everyone enjoys their night wherever they are.

| Thought Luke Thompson was absolutely sublime today, easily had his best game for us so far.

| I don’t want to say much because I have had a few sherries but I just wanted to add that Faz rolled back the years today.

| As said, we never looked like losing. Great effort from the pack. and Marshy had to be close to MotM for a great effort. We have a side to be proud of.

| You just did a total job on Wire and never let them get going….i know French,Smith and Field get all the plaudits week in week out but Thompson has been your best signing and is your player of the year so far imo,he has been immense and plays big minutes,I was a bit wary of the signing with his injury and concussion issues down under then missed the WCC due to a his but my god, some then he has just got better and better.

| After watching it back it really is tough to pick someone out but an honourable mention to Ellis who never took a backward step and it's a pity Mago didn't get more minutes he was causing havoc with the ball in hand, can only assume after the Faz try MP decided to defend it out which is more than fair enough

| It was a classic finals performance. Totally dominant. The defence won us that (and won it comfortably) and on the back of that it only took a couple of flashes of brilliance in attack to put them to the sword. Ellis was immense and Field has become the best creative fullback since Tomkins. His pass for Faz's try was sublime and isn't getting the attention it deserves although that's probably because of Faz's great line and finish.
Professional to a man yesterday. Wire will play better, no doubt, but credit needs to be given in part to Wigan's defence. They were frustrated and mistakes always come on the back of frustration.
Holders of all 4 trophies now and who would bet against them winning all four in a season? 2 down 2 to go. Some team this!

| Field might not have been blasting through defences this season but he’s really worked on the creative side of his game and is becoming a really well rounded fullback. I thought he was outstanding yesterday.
