Maybe we’ll let them loan him. They only have 3 specialist prop forwards available to start 2024 as things stand, so in an emergency we could maybe help out.

| That's Thompson, Dupree, Ellis, Byrne, Havard, Cooper, Mago, Hill, Chan and now Eseh. If Owen Farrell comes in as rumoured then there's no space for one of the props to transition to 13. I'm sure players will go out on loan but it sounds like a huge number of players to accommodate going forwards (both on the field and on the salary cap).

He’s a big lad but also very athletic.
He does have a great frame and he’s only 20 so I think he will add mass quite quickly without causing issues with his athletic attributes.

Good to know. I'd like to see another stone or so on him down the line.

Pretty much summed up my thoughts on the lad. Very rarely have I seen such a big, young lad put himself about like Eseh did that night. He really did rattle Isa who defo took at second look at him to almost say WTF. If he's got that "nast" in him and we can get him fit, he'll be a top talent imo.
I was slightly gutted at the apparent rumours of him going to Saints, so I'm made up.
Mike "the money" Danson is certainly doing bits. Absolutely love it too.

I did ask on here last week if anyone had heard a rumour about Hill not being happy/leaving, I’d even heard someone say he was going Wire. We seem way over stocked at prop, would say even if we loan out Eseh and Hill with a view to replacing Cooper and Mago in 2025 we still look overstocked. We will certainly be able to take a few injuries in the pack and not be affected too much if none leave.

I read a few posts above the Eseh news and we can at least console ourselves with these new signings, as we’re currently playing a guy in Miski, who isn’t fit to lace Regan Crace’s boots and wouldn’t have scored more than 5 try’s all season at a lower table club.
It’s just a beautiful read sometimes.

I think this season has proven you can never have enough props…although we are getting there!
I’m sure Hill and Eseh will be fully aware of their respective development plans for them over the next year or two and the expectations placed on them to push for first team places and timings.
They are both 20 still absolute babies for Props and a year on loan whilst under the watch of our conditioning and coaching will do them the world of good should it happen.
