Certainly didn’t see us signing a Brazilian player this off season. Looks to be one for the reserves to start with but watching some clips he looks to have plenty of attributes. He running style reminded me of one of the Fafita twins. Fingers crossed he develops in to a first team player alongside his mate KPP.

Just been looking at his Instagram and you’re right he does have a Fifita style about him and a good off load too. I am very encouraged by this one, I don’t think it’s going to be long until he’s playing first team in all honesty.

Looks like a right handful from those highlights, a few things to draw from it:

Looks to actually want to take the ball in, time and time again.
Keeps pumping those legs after contact in the tackle making valuable extra metres.
Actively looks to offload the ball in the tackle.

Can definitely see him getting some first team action this season, giving some our existing forwards things to think about their own performances. Competition for places can only be a good thing. Genuinely excited for the new season to start now.

Silva only looks short, anyone know his height?

Watched a few of the clips on Instagram and whilst not a giant he looks as tall as most of the opposition he comes up against and is one of the taller lads on the Broncos side.

Looks very very raw and wouldn’t expect tv to see him in the first team for a couple of years but he has a style I can see Wane liking. Very aggressive and competitive in everything he does, particularly contact.

Good post contact meters and quick play the ball. Clearly a strong lad given his ability to stand in the tackle and produce the late offload but also athletic too with a top engine. Footwork looks good as well.

Interesting signing. I not this has come out of the blue interesting the oracle didn’t pick up on this one however I am sure he will make it fit one of his predictions.

Thornley I’m comfortable with. Money ball signing improves is in areas we lacked last year. If he isn’t motivated by this opportunity it will be a real shame and if he is he could be a very astute signing.

Absolutely.

I am excited to see what the season brings. IL/KR have put their money where our mouths are and spent in the areas needed and installed a new coaching set up. For me success will be a step further than last season. I want to see progression, not stagnation. If that means a 3rd place finish and a SF finish then so be it.
