On paper their 21 is far stronger than ours. It’s depressing to say when we add in current form and confidence if we keep them below 50 it can probably be considered an achievement.

Im just hoping for a more solid performance with a significant reduction of errors and penalties (and no more injuries) to give us a resemblance of a foundation to build on.

I’m down on our chances but I wouldn’t go that far. Widdop is their main man this season and King isn’t far behind. They’ll beat us I’d imagine but I saw some good signs on Thursday regards our fight and I think we’ll give it a real crack.

Simple, you do not need a quality goal kicker if you do not expect him to have to kick goals.

I fear the youthful Wigan teams more than any. They’ve done us every time.
Btw, I much prefer to see Farrell and Bateman in the pack, playing prop again even, because to me, it means the pack depth is actually smaller. If Wigan can afford to put big game players like Farrell and Bateman at centre, I’d be very worried.

After the shambles of the last two games I'm fully prepared for a beating tonight - even a half-strength Warrington side should be able to easily brush aside the players we have available.

There’ll be no lack of effort but we’ll fall well short tonight, and even shorter on Sunday! Can’t wait for the week to be over!!

Come on...its not going to be a walkover. You've beat us before with a "weakened" team. I'd love nothing than to win 50-0 at the DW but it isnt going to happen.

Your players will be up for it after a couple of blips.

It just will though, i normally sit on the side of optimism (maybe too much at times) but we are too easy to beat and i think teams realise that now. Our forward pack, despite their future potential, are just not up to it currently. Too young, too small. Admittedly this is not helping our attack but even when we do get into attacking positions we can't put a set move on to save our lives and rarely look threatning with very little strike potential.

Combine all this with selection decisions that just hurt my head to think about ie - our top player / creator being wasted for a full game at fullback where he looks uncomfortable while we struggle to put points on the board. Or better still a winger at fullback while our only fit and available fullback plays on the wing



despite all this i will be going tonight for the record as a season ticket holder, basically straight from work aswell. But by god i don't see how we win this game, let alone stay competitive. Im going in with the lowest of expectations and anything positive we do serve up will be a bonus.
