For me Manfredi has done nothing to say he automatically deserves a first team place when fit. I like the lad but so far he seems to have lost a bit of his spark which is obviously understandable

Burgess probably needs to play again this season, simply to see if the rehab is working. If it isn't, then it's not looking good.

Can we afford to only find out the above at the start of next season?

Clubb needs game time just as much as George does.

Thought Clubb was pretty solid for the short stint last week. Well disciplined too which is good for him. If he can do 2 stints then he keeps his place for me. George Burgess hasn't earned a place in the side and the only thing he has going for him now is his reputation. He has been awful in every game bar Huddersfield away. Not ideal that there is no reserve games etc but every forward at the club has outplayed him. If i was Lam, he doesn't get in the first team again this season.

Take no chances. If in "any" doubt on fitness then neither Burgess or Manfredi should feature.

Ive got a feeling Huddersfield will come to give us a tough game and they will be no pushover.
Also although Bibby is solid but unspectacular he doesn't deserve to be dropped and I believe sends out a message that players get a game on merit in that if you continue to play well then you retain your place.

The thought of G Burgess and Clubb in the starting 17 does not fill me with any confidence whatsoever. They would struggle to play 30 minutes between them.

Hope we can remember how to play at Headingley - we've been bloody awful there since lockdown 1.
