I'm hoping Burgess on a 1 year deal is to give themselves time to evaluate Manfredi's recovery and Marshall's progress, rather than Burgess only wanting to commit for one year.

A pi$$ take the way they are doing this . Somebody at Wigan needs a talking too the way they treat the fans regardless of what is still to come . No wonder Mick Hogan and Simon Collinson left .

Is Clark any good? Serious question, I'm not sure I've ever seen him play and I heard he got loaned out to Fev last season.

So far so good for me, though I would have liked longer from Burgess.

So far this is all very dire...

-Clark? I'm on the fence. Need to see more of him play before I make a judgement, nevertheless, not blown away.
-Burgess 1 year. In favour of who? If it's in favour of the player you could argue he wants another season here before having another crack at the NRL. Not good for long term.
-Smithies, great signing. Love the kid.
-Partington? Not impressed. Saw several stats on him which were poor to say the least. 4 years off the back of his performances seems extreme.
-Wells, been injured so much I've forgotten what he looks like. Again I'm unsure.

If this is it then once again I'm left feeling underwhelmed and disappointed.

But... signing Hastings and Watkins would make it all ok.

However, I think we're more than likely to get 'Lam to stay on for another 2 years' and Jake Bibby signs; both of which send me further into my Wigan RL depression.

Oh I agree we need more but in terms of squad announcements I’m okay so far.
