| Quote Ruune Rebellion="Ruune Rebellion"Your pack is shocking. Your front row are a throw back to the 80s. The game has moved on since then. That said I think your outside backs would be class behind a good pack.
You’re a big club and will have no problem attracting the players you need. If the rumours are true Clarke will be a massive upgrade on what you have.
Couple of years and you’ll be reet'"
A new broom to sweep clean and a bit of pruning to remove the dead wood should help as well

| All that pressure in the first half and never looked like scoring, so little direction or ideas. Any type of game plan would be an improvement.
Forwards ineffective only Flower looked remotely like a decent forward, two half backs that were either anonymous (TL) or just plain awful (GW, back to headless chicken running in circles mode) with the worst kicking game of any halves ever at Wigan.
Poor performance all round.

| I think we went out initially on wanting to score the first try hence the the three penalties in front of goal were all tapped.
Once Catalans scored the first try we went rapidly down hill.
Please do not offer O’Loughlin a one year deal, now is the time to make it his last, it’s like keeping someone on life support just for the sake of it.

| About as bad as it gets in a big game. I hope the players and coaches are as embarrassed by themselves as I am for them.
O'Loughlin handed Catalans 14 points in the space of 5 minutes- dropped ball, penalty and then Langi runs straight through him.
Williams was just laughable.
Feel sorry for the Wigan fans that made the trip and I hope they enjoy the weekend regardless.

| Terrible to watch, clueless rubgy with a pack full of average players.
WCC, rubbish. Challenge cup, gone. Big TV spectecal at Camp Nou, embarrassing. We've failed at every major event so far. Onto next week at magic weekend, another event we can look bad in?

| I thought Lam got the game plan wrong. We tried to throw the ball wide before we’d earned the right to do so.
At half time I thought we would be walking away with it in the last 20. I was expecting them to tire after the amount of pressure we put them under defending their line.
Ultimately we gifted them 3 or 4 tries, too much lost ball coming off our line and too many penalties is what cost us. Once we handed them that kind of lead we were never coming back.
Williams’ inconsistency is incredibly frustrating, he’s a fine player and one of the best halves in the country on his day. Today was not his day.
That’s also probably the worst game I’ve ever seen SOL have. After last week I was thinking he could go round again, after today, not sure anymore.
Let’s not go OTT again though. We know and the club know we have a weak front row. That’s not going to change this season, against these massive packs we are always going to struggle. That’s not Lam’s fault. Whether we extend his contract or not depends on who else is available but I don’t think it’s right to judge a coach who has a remit to introduce a completely different style of play to what the players we have were signed to do.

| Williams, on his day?
Can you enlighten me as to when his day is? Which one out of the 365 in each year?
Sooner he sods off to his mates in Aus, the better.
Wonder if he’ll do what his mate Sutton did and suddenly decide he wants to put the effort in.

| Wigan really are the pits this year.
That was a performance of utter ineptitude against a team that had no halfbacks on the field.
Half our players can't catch a ball. The other half are so mentally fragile that as soon as the opposition gets ahead, their heads drop and they walk around the field like zombies.
We have no captain and we quite clearly have no coach.
Yet again, players like Clubb, O'Loughlin, Isa, Tautai, Hankinson and Navarette (good grief, he was appaling today, again!) are doing more harm than good and should be nowhere near a Wigan first team shirt in 2019, closely followed by the likes of Sarginson, Powell and Flower who, while not total rubbish, are mostly ineffective. Meanwhile, Moneybags Williams, whose agent must be an absolute genius to get Canberra to table some cash for him, was on one of his all-too-frequent off-days (I'm too sure where he was off too, but he certainly wasn't at the Nou Camp).
Somehow or other we've ended up with a really, really substandard team in 2019. There is no improvement in sight - I'm not sure this lot even have one in them - and the scramble to avoid relegation is likey to go right to the finishing line.

| Currently sat on a bus outside the Nou Camp and whilst that display won’t ruin the trip I have to say I do feel a bit cheated.
A great occasion and only one team turned up.
Forwards, awful.
Less said about the halves the better, and Sarg is a joke. Watching Sarg give Marshall a spraying after every tackle he missed was laughable.
I was all for Lam a few weeks ago. Now I think this whole season needs to be written off, including the coach.

The second part of your post is a massive issue. We are Wigan. We demand the best of our players, our coach and every single person associated with the club. If that doesn't sound like you, that's fine. But get out of the way, there's someone out there who bleeds cherry and white and has that fight and will to win we demand here in Wigan.
I hope no one forgets who we are. Our history and what we demand. No one's going over the top. A strong reaction is needed. Anything less is weak. And doesn't put emphasis on what we need.
It is Lams fault. He's no leader. The players follow the leader. The poor attitude and lack of desire, will to win creeps in if the leader let's it. And Lam has.
That squad is good enough to win the league. End of. I want a coach who can get the players to run through a brick wall for them. For thr club.
Currently we've lost all that.
Additionally we've lost all tactical ability and structure. It's a mess.
No more excuses.
