It was clear Tomkins and Batemen got fed up and decided to try to play Saints on their own after 60 minutes of rudderless action.
Wane needs to go now.'"
It was especially clear when Sam, for about the last 20 minutes, chimed in and decided sod it ! Then we were at our most dangerous.
Bateman has been the only constant decent player of late.

2nd in the league, 2nd top points scorers, 2nd best defence. Who are you trying to kid?
Did Darrell Powell tell Cas to go out and try to bash em tonight?

For once take those cherry & white specs off, smell the coffee and then say.. “ yes there are major issues at the club”
Your remind me of the Iraqi minister in the gulf war days every time he was being interviewed. He also kept reporting that everything was fine.

Wrong. It’s you negative, ‘Wigan can do no right’ clan that are part of the problem.
Cast your mind back to the start of the season and there are not many of us that gave Wigan a chance. I seem to recall you and a few others saying we won’t even make the top 4.
The point here is exactly as Rogues says. We are 2nd with 1 game to go before the split, we’ve scored more tries than every club except Saints and our points difference is excellent. We’ve played far better rugby overall this season that we did the last 2 and e all know the impact the injuries had on us.
Has it been a perfect season? Not by a long way but it certainly hasn’t been the doom and gloom that people like you constantly post. It’s time for changes and fresh ideas that’s for sure but I’m still confident of a place in the GF this season. There’s lots still to play for and the challenge is there for us.
If perspective, context and balance make me a happy clapper as you call it, I’ll take it all day long. If constant unnecessary criticism of the club, the players, the coaching staff and fellow fans makes me a more realistic, loyal and better fan, I’m happy not to be and I’ll stay as I am thanks.

You'd have to explain how Im trying to 'kid'. As I said its a direct quote from an experienced first team player. Unless you're suggesting I'm simply lying which I'd take offence to. Keep in mind - its a [isubjective[/i view from one player - its not necessarily reflected by everyone in the squad.
For what its worth I dont think its beyond the realms of possibility that we win the title this year - we'll likely finish in the top 4 pretty much on default due to Hull's injury list and the shocking early season form of some other candidates. Then rightly or wrongly its win two games and become champions. Its possible if most are fit at the right time - everyone will Im sure put doubts and frustrations aside at that stage and do all they can to reach Old Trafford.

| In fairness to MadDogg they’ve never come across as somebody who posts wild rumours so I don’t see any reason to doubt the fact that s player has said this. Now of course they (the player) may be miffed about something else and have just decided to fling rubbish around but it makes you wonder.
There’s time for Wane to get us back firing again yet but I can only see that if he opens his eyes and stops being stubborn in regards to the halfback options. If he doesn’t trust Escare at fullback get Sarginsons energy in there and get Sam Tomkins influencing the play up in the line. End the confusion with swapping players around and let Leuluai and Powell share the hooking duties. I sadly won’t hold my breath that he will try anything different mid season though unless injuries strike and with us we only ever seem to pick up injuries to players in form.

Well
I know for a fact by numerous people who are in the dressing room, at training sessions etc that "Bash em" is not all they're told before a game.
So if it's ok I'll take that as my benchmark and form my opinion of this post from that.
Anyone who's been trying to find any stick to beat wane with four the last 3/4 years can continue to blame him for everything.
BTW
I'm all for moving on and having a change of coach, only some of that though is due to wanes performance. Some of it is because for the last 2/3 years it doesn't matter what he says, what he does, what the facts are it will be twisted by some to best him up with.
I'm bored and sick to death with it so at least if we move on it will stop that particular avenue of moaning.
PS
I had the pleasure of sitting next to Shaun wane at a match a year or so ago. (A wigan 1st team game).
For 80mins he never once lost his rag, shouted, screamed, swore, got angry.
He was quite controlled, analytical and actually passed on his instructions in a very controlled manner.
It completely backed up what I had been told about him by the 3/4 people I know who are in that dressing room every week.
Go figure.

Again..a [isubjective[/i view from one player. Im not making any generalisations and not asking anyone else to. People can form their own opinions.

The original post said the squad is divided so you are confirming this.

| Rubbish.
It is the players that are not good enough in key positions partly due to injury and partly due to poor recruitment.
Im no big fan of Wane but do not compare this teams performances to the one Maguire had. The difference in player quality is like night and day.

| I’ve been lucky enough to be in the dressing room when Wane has addressed the players last season. It was post match and we had won well. He had an aura about him like that of a head master. The changing room was rightly buzzing after the win but when SW walked in and took his place it went silent. He was calm, controlled and completely inspirational with his passion. He summarised the performance, praised the players and started the preparations for the following week’s game. I honestly had goose bumps when he finished. I was a fan of him before that day but my opinion of him went up massively that day.
