Absolutely no chance. The club have been inflating the crowds all season (counting season tickets sold?). At best 8,500 on there tonight.

We've gone from actual 15-16k average crowds to around half that, worrying times for Mr. Lenagan.

No way can anybody defend that garbage, absolutely gutted the match was moved to Thursday, if it had been on Friday I'd have fortunately been at work.

deffo 11500 on i can judge that crowd to 500 every game, no point taking the two we gain nothing apart from sending some fans home slightly happier, agree though absolute rubbish attack if i here anybody knock smith again i will knock them out, he would have pulled us through that game for sure.

Laugh or cry time. Laugh because with all of our modern technology we cannot see a try given on a blatant forward pass and another when the offside man collected the ball but was so wide that he did not appear on the only replay that could have proved the point. I was in line with both an they should have been pretty easy to spot. Cry because we were so bad that we did not deserve to be in with a chance because we had no clue. Sam looked shot and I could not work out who played in the pivot roles but it looked for much of the game that TT had taken the stand off position as the player who was feeding our runners. It is dispiriting to see Shorrocks trying to force something when the more senior players must step up.
I did hear a very interesting explanation from a Widnes fan as to why Sam should have been sent off for some heinous infringement but six high tackles in quick succession was fine. I would have liked to say something to counter that but at the end of the day we did not win and they get to gloat.

Turgid rugby. I don't think we are the worst Wigan team I've seen, but definitely the most boring. Can't comprehend what they must do at training in terms of attack.

Widnes were tenacious and played with heaps of effort and desire. They deserved the win. I'm sorry to say that wigans arrogance is costing them. I'm not just talking about not taking the two points either. Wanes reactions are rubbing off on the players- Whenever Wigan win he's rightly full of praise for the players, however whenever Wigan lose Wanes reaction in front of the cameras is cringeworthy. There's always some excuse-illness, injury, disruption, officials....... If he just said, the other team played better than us -end of, then perhaps the Wigan team wouldn't believe it's not their fault....

I think it's time for Wigan to "freshen up" on the coaching front. Give the players some interest and challenge back.
The players look stale and they do not look to be enjoying their rugby....

I think Wane is doing a great job. Yes, the attack is robotic and ultra predictable I know, but whilst all the other teams can read it with no prob, even with 11 men, he is working on his new attack system which will develop the excellent wrestle they now practise to wrestle their way all the way down the pitch. Now dint ask me how it'll work but they practise it non stop and soon all will be revealed. It's not about power and speed anymore. Predictability, slow ruck, wrestlemania and just not respecting any opposition is the way forward. Wigan will come through , Widnes guts , skill and speed and self belief will mean nothing. Apart from 2 points and winning pay last night. Don't change a thing Wigan.....we're loving it.
