He did get released and was turning out for Swinton iirc but recently he's played a couple of games for our reserve team I believe so it would seem he's still around the club in some form.

I always liked the looks of him and Sutton.

Haughton also lacked any real passion for RL didn't he? He was devastating at times but then gave up on the game.

Too early yet. Dual reg to a lower down Championship side or a League 1 side next year would make more sense so he can get experience of playing against grown men. It's a massive step from Academy/Reserves to Super League, particularly for a forward.

Simon Haughton didn't have a bad career,played a few times for GB.May not have lived up to expectations but he was far from a flop.
