If you watch it back, the ball is spinning over the line. When Manfredi's hand goes passed the ball it bounces up 2-3 inches. Therefore that may suggest that he bushed it with part of his hand. He's later show talking to Tomkins and pointing to his little finger. As I understand it, thats given as a try. I'm not saying it's a great rule because I think it should be controlled downward pressure.
The Cas first try was obviuosly forward and at the time Dave Woods said theses decisions even themselves out, so maybe he was right. Either way Wigan were by far the better side and fully deserved the win.
