Very odd.
Player pleads guilty to a grade B offence knowing the minimum suspension is one game.
Player receives one game suspension.
Player appeals being given a one game suspension even though this is the minimum ban for the offence he has admitted.
Player is given less than minimum suspension.
Bizarre.

Does this mean he still has his EGP?

I also loved this comment from the panel:
"The player has accepted his guilt and has no previous record for similar offences of placing opponents in dangerous positions."
Are they forgetting he recieved an 8 month ban for knocking a player unconscious and then punching him again as he lay defenceless on the ground? Clearly they don't consider this to be dangerous!

Yes that's it exactly! The RFL have forgotten the grand final incident which is just the same as accidentally upending a playing off balance! Punishment served, move on.

I actually think Wigan should be complemented.
All clubs should work in their own best interests. If this means successfully appealing suspensions then so be it.

To be fair, I don't remember the last time we won an appeal.

As for the Cas fans, don't be concerned ... the guy's been a shadow of himself since the infamous GF incident. I doubt you've much to worry about.

Isn't our "legal team" usually just Wane and another coach who have actually played the game and know the intensities of the current game unlike the plebs that usually sit on the disciplinary panel.

There are a lot of 'legal experts' on TotalRL - especially on this matter- though if most of them speak the way they write, you'd think you were listening to lads whose knackers haven't dropped.
