One person’s thoughts of another person’s possible open arrogance may just be showing that that person is only demonstrating sad thoughts of envy themselves!

| Quote Rogues Gallery="Rogues Gallery"Just out of curiosity how many times have Saints had a Sunday/Thursday turnaround this season?
I've stated many times that it shouldn't happen and is not allowed in Aus. If you play Sunday then you should not be made to play Thursday, I've argued it since day one of the Thursday fixtures.
I'm not talking about Sky manipulating the fixtures, I'm talking about common sense.'"
If the yellow peril won't answer you Rogues I will. The answer is "none" and that is the same answer for Leeds and Warrington. Even further than that Leeds had a four day turnaround at Easter when most clubs had just a three day gap. The fact that Wigan have now faced this unfair burden twice makes one wonder if there isn't an agenda here.

Swings and roundabouts.'"
That comment would have some relevance if not for the fact that some clubs (like Leeds) are never at the fun fair.

| I have been digging further into this matter and next Thursday will be the 6th occasion that a team has been asked to play on Thursday after having played on the previous Sunday. As well as Wigan, other teams drawing the short straw have been Wakefield, Widnes and Castleford twice. Only Castleford have won when at this disadvantage and that was when they faced London. If it is obvious that a team is disadvantaged when faced with such a short turn round then it is equally obvious that their opponents have been given an advantage. One team has enjoyed that benefit on two occasions. Would you be surprised to find out that the lucky team is LEEDS.

| Here's a crazy theory; maybe the club would've said something to The RFL if they thought the turnaround was too short. As it is, it's just a few people moaning on here.

Not moaning, just pointing out inequalities.

Good grief!!.... I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but that does smack of being unfair, at the very least...

Didn't we also have a four day turnaround when we played Wakefield away?

Yes Rogues, I said in an earlier post that Wigan will have had this 4 day turnround twice with the game against Salford. The other game was against Wakefield.

| Quote Father Ted="Father Ted"Tonight's game Salford v Leeds. The Reds are on a 4 day turnaround, Leeds 7.
Next week we are on a 4 day break Salford 6.
Sorry, but that's just not right for either game, 4 days is no recovery period and teams should not be playing unless both have a decent recovery time.
The most important thing for me in all this is player welfare. One team has recovered from their previous game and is prepared, the other is neither. It appears player welfare has not been taken into consideration.
IMO next Thursday's TV game should have been Hull FC v Saints. Hull on a 7 day gap Saints 6. The Salford/Leeds and Wigan/ Salford fixtures are just plain wrong!'"
Sunday to Friday is a 5 day turnround.

By the way, your arithmetic is not very good. Sunday to Friday is a gap of FIVE days.

| Firstly I don't but these conspiracy theories but who am I to get in the way of the entertainment they provide on a fans forum.
Sky moved our game to Thursday because that's the one they wanted on telly. They wouldn't look it care about whether a team has he 4 days rest or not. As others have said it is not allowed in Australia and shouldn't be allowed here.
