Powell and O'loughlin haven't trained all week so if either one of those don't make it then I'd expect Doran will be making his debut. Shame Hampshire is out as this would have been his chance to start a big game at stand-off.

Saints always seem to get the better of us in the second derby. Agree with the poster saying Burke on the bench and lockers to nine. Key thing for me about a hooker is defence in the middle of the field. Williams can be abit lightweight, especially after playing alot of minutes.

Wigans team better than the one I expect to play.

However think we may struggle to break them down without the Green to Farrell combo

Of course we'll be fine. Did any of the doom and gloomers see Saints against Catalans (or Wire for that matter, or us on GF)? They have Wellens at FB, so any breaks will be 6 points. In pretty much every second derby we have lost we have had our mind on other things - this year, this game gets our full attention.
If Lockers is fit the game will be over by 60 minutes again.

Charnley, Bowen and Powell all passed fitness tests. Strong performance from us but cant see past a Saints win.

I imagine it was probably a little similar to how I felt on Good Friday 2011 when Farrell scored in the last minute to win it. Gutted we lost, but massively enjoyed the game. Enjoyed last night's as well, and the result for a change! We needed that tbh, still wouldn't look forward to playing you in the play-offs.
