| Sorry but I thought it was embarrassing listening to it all. Won't be tuning in to wish fm again on the odd occasion I don't go away.

| Although Bilko was a tad one eyed, given the scoreline it didnt matter
he was also more fluent than a lot of the ex-pros and ancient commentators that usually get the gig
Well done ! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Maybe we could get Woody on the job for a game. He actually saw this one.

Given the scoreline and the Hull KR performance, I couldn't do much but be lol

The drunken thoughts of Rabbi James Wood is an occassional feature in my match reports.

| Didn't think you was one eyed at all there isn't much else to talk about if we kept scoring 1 after another. also wish fm is a local radio station presumably listened to by wigan fans.
I dont know why but i didn't expect you to sound like that but i will be listening again.
the only 1 gripe i had is the other commentator i guess he's the main commentator didn't really keep up to the play for example, when sam broke through the line and eden came across and got him 5 meters from the line i had no idea tuson was on the inside so i thought sam had been tackled and the next minute all i hear is "tuson is in, chris tyson has scored". He needs to be more detailed in he's commentating to paint a better picture.
Ray Hadley is good at this but he does it whilst commentating on a game being shown live which grinds on me

| I enjoyed it, although I am slighty biased!! Top work for a first time too.
I dont think people realise how hard radio commentry/presenting is, you have no visual impact (like in tv) and have to keep it flowing, etc.

Think your being harsh there. Mark Wilson is the name of the commentator and I was a bit on awe of how easy he made it look to do. On that one Sam was clean through looked and looked a certain scorer but Greg Eden held him up for a second or two. Tuson then appeared from nowhere and then take the offload. With it being 1 metre from the line it was all split second stuff. Sometimes the action is quicker than you can get the words out. It isn't football!

| Thought you did very well and you didn't seem nervous at all.
Its one thing watching as a spectator but must take up quite a bit of energy concentrating on the action and describing what is happening to the listener.
Must also be very difficult not to swear (that is where I would fall down).

Exactly. It's not an easy skill at all. Glad most people enjoyed it anyway, the only negative comment against me being in this thread, but each to their own - alternative commentaries always available.
Considering I was only asked at 1:30 and tgeb only got into Craven Park at 2:30pm, it was headset on with nerves on the stomach and away from about 2:40pm for some pre match chat. So I'm made up with only one bad word about it. I enjoyed it and the coverage did have record online listening figures for Super League on Wish FM! Hopefully you'll stick with us as it seems I'll be on all away games at least from now on!
