| i had wire to win by 10-14 tonight, be a score in front and then kill the game late on
I think Wigan will therefore be happier as Wire had the stronger side out, but also disappointed that they didnt win
all in all a fantastic game of RL, well contested by two committed sides with no quarter asked or given
well done to both teams, and both sets of fans for giving the game the respect it deserves

| Brilliant game. Thought we defended superbly but our discipline let us down at times. Very impressed with green and smith, kicking game wasn't brilliant but that was mainly to do with Warrington chasing fast from marker and putting a lot of pressure on the kickers. Our young pack really stood up to Warrington tonight and gave as good as they got.
As for people having a pop at Sam for not catching the briers bombs, NO fullback in world rugby league would have caught them, briers kicking on the last was exceptional, the bombs were executed with pin point accuracy.

i would argue that our kicking game tonight although not perfect was one of the the best i've seen since Michael Dobsons 1st game for us V Saints
our kicking game has been poor for years, consistently finding the full back, winger or anyone in an opposition shirt. we sarcasticly cheer if it doesnt
tonight both Smith and Green found touch with good kicks, and rarely kicked directly to the Wire player on the full, so at least gave us time to get a defensive line set
i think this will over the course of the season add a different attacking option to our game as well as you commented re Briers tonight, and also Sinfield in the play offs last season

| I think i am right in saying Wigan had 15 players aged 26 and under, that is amazing.

| That was a great effort from Wigan with so many home grown youngsters in the 17. That approach has to be the future for all SL clubs. The investment in youth is paying off.
You must be running well under the salary cap with that team

| I thought it was a very good game and I am a lot more optimistic for the season now. I think the first half we played them off the park after the first few minutes. We came out in the second and tried to get into top gear too quickly for me, but they are a young bunch and will learn and achieve better cohesion in time. The forwards totally outpaced the wire. A few cringes from me when Sam lets those bombs bounce, but given they gained a try when we should have had a penalty, and a bit of luck with their drop at the end, all-in-all I was very pleased. Stand-outs, Smith, Farrell, Super Mac, O’loughlin, Goulding. I think 17-16 to us would have been a fairer result. For them Myler’s try was a very good one.

Add to the fact we have off-loaded Hock out on a season long loan then I'd say you are right. The club have commented that they are looking to strengthen the squad if and when the right calibre of player is found.

| Brilliant game, can't wait to watch it back after work.
Really proud of the way the lads stepped up against a pack I thought would dominate us.
