Got a funny feeling our defence will be pretty handy this season, starting on Friday. As some of you have mentioned, Salford team will be young and lacking last years 6 & 7, I predict them to struggle

Wigan by at least 30 i think and im being slightly conservative there.Mainly due to the disarray that Salford are in and they will be fielding pretty much an u20 side.They may be up for it and work hard for the first half hour but i think they will fall apart in the second half.If you look at the sides yes we've lost some good players but i dont think there is one Salford player that would get in Wigan's side.

Like previous poster stated, no signings made by Salford. They lossed Smith, Holdsworth, Moon and Patten.

With the introduction of Tomkins i dont think they stand much chance

We've just brought in Murphy, Mcgoldrick and Williams to the squad won't make much difference tbh?

I dont rate McGoldrick but he will probably thrive in this sort of situation and he can cover plenty of positions.Rhys Williams is a good winger but might be used as a centre and im not sure thats his best spot and I think most people on here think Murphy is a good player and i think its a good move for wigan to send him to you.All 3 are decent short term signings but i dont think it will make a whole lot of difference on friday.
