Nice cheating by Featherstone at the end there - holding on to the ball for five seconds after the tackle had been completed to prevent Wigan getting the ball back. Poor referee.

Wigan were terrible how the hell they won 12 on the bounce is beyond me, we never looked like scoring a second try

Very poor attack from us. Constantly over running the play and too much down the middle at times. Plus a shed load of unforced errors were our undoing.

Believe me, they're a lot better than they looked tonight. They were outstanding last week, just an off night.

We usually have Crosby playing who makes a big difference down the middle. Murphy and Crow also seemed to be absent which is a shame. We seemed to have a slightly weaker starting 9 than usual and it didn't do us much good.

It's a very young team so you can't blame them for having their first poor game in the 9's.

I think we went unbeaten last year in the comp only to end up going out in the semi's. As you say everyone can have an off night. Dare I say the players underestimated Featherstone.
