| Wilkin really is the definition of an average player. For years he stole a living in good St Helens teams and now he is playing in a very average one he is showing just how average he actually is. He is not big enough for a forward, is slow (almost Wellensesque) and isnt particulalry skillful. He is Widnes standard and always has been. How he has ever got picked for England is quite amazing with some of the forwards that we have got.

| Just can't understand why anyone in the St.Helens side would want to hand Wigan field position, they were the most obvious penalties you could give straight in front of the referee and what made matters worse is that he just continued to do it. Makes you wonder how many penalties you can actually get away with giving without being sent from the field of play, can't imagine he will be too popular with his team mates after that performance.
Testimonial year as well.

| Wathcing the Super League Show back. Wilkin is the guest player and he's sporting a peach of a shiner so he got his just desserts for the swinging arm-fest he treated us to

To be fair, he did talk some sense about the brawl - bring back the biff!

Yes Hock has done drugs in the past and he is a ehouse. But hes our ehouse and hes a damn good player and I wouldnt swap him for any other second rower in the world. Especially not Wilkin. I wouldnt swap any of our second rowers for Wilkin. Not even lads playing in the under 18s. He is a waste of space. So glad he is at Saints.
The sad thing is that he is a media whore and is probably going to join the already bad enough Sky team once his painfully average rugby career is over.

And yet who would you have in your side at the end of the day?
Thanks very much. Goodbye.

Hope so.
He can then counter some of the ridicoulous Phil Clarke / Carney / O'Connor blatant pro-Wigan bias.
Come on even a wigan supporter must be embarassed by Clarkey - its excruciating to watch. At least Wilkin (who I agree is well past it and is a one man penalty machine - for opponents) thinks before he opens his big gob.
By the way Sam is doing a good job on Sky as well - is this cynical attempt (and apparently sucessful) to bypass the SC available to all clubs with talented youngsters who might leave for Oz or even worse Rah Rah,

Yes because Eddie and Stevo dont more than make up for that apparent pro-Wigan bias?
And by the way no the attempt to bypass the Salary Cap is only available to Wigan as we obviously develop the best young british players

How is it bypassing salary cap rules if players have jobs away from their playing careers? Cameron Smith does media work to the tune of $100,000 a year for Foxtell.
