| This all pales in to insignificance when you watch the game back and notice that at one point Sam Tomkins actually walks backwards towards his own line in front of the Fev fans!
Disgusting behaviour and must be worthy of a ban.

Do you mean Tonkins? The guy can't even spell his own name. How dare he walk backwards towards the Fev fans, while flaunting his misspelled "Tomkins" shirt. What sort of message is Tonkins sending out to young RL fans?
It's a disgrace, ban him sine die.

| anyone think that Gaz is in for a shout as MOS?
looking at the other forums, praise of his play is unanamous, and he is one of the most feared players in SL.
would make a great chapter in the story, drug ban, misses Wigan becoming champions, come back, misses out on CC, epic season, MOS, wins Lance Todd & Harry Sunderland in a clean sweep.
Russell Crowe to play Gaz in Hollywood blockbuster

Yes, but he faces the massive disadvantage of being a Wigan player, unfortunately. He will have to be way out in front of the other non-Wigan candidates to stand any chance of winning. He's also controversial which won't help him.
Paddy won by being a clean cut, Superman-esque (!) figure and in playing terms having a sensational season in which high standards in every department made it impossible to find fault with him.
He's perhaps as naturally gifted as anyone bar Tomkins in the competition, but Gaz will struggle to win the MoS no matter how well he plays - he will have to pull out something amazing to win, the bar will be even higher for him than it was for Paaaat. That's RL for you.

I am sure that the Super League players will award it to the most worthy candidate.

| MOS to date is probably Scott Dureau in all fairness.
Our leading candidates would be Hock and Finch as their skills stand them out from equally worthy challengers in Hansen and Lima who have both been sensational.

Dustin Hoffman playing Raymond in Rain Man would be more mentally adept

Won't happen as Carl Ablett is a better second rower than Gaz

Wash your mouth out. The Leeds gang will have you know that title belongs to Ryan "cheap shot" Bailey.

And when it is announced and Gaz misses out, the Wigan table will refuse to applaud.
