I have no idea Brian, been a few years since I stopped playing and no longer know any of the younger players who would have dealings with him. I know little about him but given the crop of home grown players in recent years its fair to assume he does a decent job. I dare say Alex Ferguson has upset a few players in his time !

It was poor form for him to conduct himself like that on TV. Even the little lads who play are taught how to conduct themselves when they lose. And of course, for us opposition fans, watching the Saints coach throw his toys out of the pram like that is just the icing on the cake.

Mind you, I can't ever see a job for Rod Studd in the diplomatic service, his post-match questions for the losing team seem to be selected with the sole purpose of rubbing salt into the wound.

He'd have been better off telling Sky he wasn't available for interview as he was a complete embarrassment grunting and growling but hilarious from our point of view. Having just looked at the you tube clip of McDermott's after game vitriol it is hard to choose between them for worst loser of the weekend

All round, it was a pretty poor showing from St Helens on Good Friday. The only good thing to say for them was their chairman's sensible points in the programme, but for everyone else in the organisation it was amateur night.

There was NEVER a 5 nil penalty count to Wigan.

Wouldn't suprise me if there was first half. Wigan had a number of penalties before Saints got one hence the ironic cheers when we did get one. Whether it was 5 nil I couldnt say.

It was 4 - 0 when Saints got the first one. I would imagine sitting through the Sky+ would be a little difficult, or has the delete button already been hit?
