That is not a dig at Stu, nor is it a thread derail. In his prime he was the (for mine) the most brutal Prop i have seen in a genertion.
Him and Barrie would have knocked the bejesus out of any pack in world rugby RL

Overseas - It would have to be Darren Lockyer for me. He just had it all and is the best player I have seen.
UK - Probably James Roby but I cant really say many names jump out at me in the same way as they do with overseas players.

UK- Cunningham. Best hooker in the world at one time and I've obviously overlooked some of his less advisable actions

Overseas. Tom Van Vollenhoven.
I have allways said that Billy Boston is the greatest player I have ever seen,mostley on the wing,sometimes centre and even standoff.
But for pure wing play Tom Van V was a joy to watch,he had everything ,pure pace and a swerve/step so subtle all he required was half a yard down the touch line.
Home Grown. Dick Huddart.
He was the most destructive running second row I have ever seen,he was big,strong and quick.
Both these names are from the past,but it was a great era for very good Rugby League players.
