Yeah it'll make money but surely a sports bar with a couple of fast food outlets would go down even better.

Thought the same too , it is a big building inside , it would have been a better option to have like you say a sport bar that does food .

Lenegan would be stupid to buy them, they are a sinking ship. If they go down, they will go down again and will be worth nothing at all, and I for one, cannot wait!!!!!!!!

Lenagan isn't allowed to be involved with the Latics, and given his stated aims for Oxford United (buying their ground back etc) won't be a credible buyer for a long time.

If IL does buy them (even through a third party a la Murdoch / Bates) it would be because it would benefit him financially . Same as Whelan sold his share in JJB for around £170 million just before it went tits up .These people are not in the situation they are in by being stupid .
