If you finish top of the league, after 8 months and 27 games, and you've played the best 14 teams in Britain home and away in all different weather conditions, then you should be champions. Because thats the hardest thing to do. If league positioning doesn't matter, then why have it?
Just have 4 groups of 4, then knockout stages then a final and save the fans a load of money going watching games that don't matter. At least with the top 5 and top 6 formats the top team had a clear advantage. |

Can't stand Leeds. From stroppy sly dirty McGuire to miserable moaning Sinfield to flat-track coward Bailey to big fat bitter Schofield, hate the lot of 'em. And their fans. They think Leeds is the centre of the world and love to masturbate their own self-importance. It's almost like they think Leeds is the gleaming capital of a small oil-rich country called Yarkshire instead of the dreary toilet it actually is.
Whereas I have a grudging respect for Saints, especially this season where they've struggled. They play tough, honest RL.
Overall though, I'm not really that fussed who wins. |

I won't be cheering them on, hell I won't even be watching ! but they are from Lancashire, they're our old adversary and command respect for their players, their fans and the fact that they beat us fair and square.
Oh and because I don't like that whining little t**d Sinfield ...  |
