Challenge Cup winners are always remembered more than Championship winners

For me it's the whole history that we have with the cup, first winners at Wembley, 8 in a row etc and the fact that the 8 in a row happened when I was growing up and Wembley was such a massive deal.

Exactly! For me its also that I was brought up on CC success and the annual trip to wembley as a young lad. It feels like a homecoming if we get there, and even though it probably is a lesser achievement in realistic terms, walking out at wembley, from an emotional point of view, I will be prouder of them walking than them walking out at Old trafford anytime.

There may just be a tear or two in my eye, as for me, wigan getting back to wembley means wigan are back!

I think the RFL should mix things up every now and again like say every 4 years.

Play the Grand Final at Wembley and the CC at Old Trafford.

I know the CC is historically a Wembley attraction but I think to keep it fresh it wouldnt hurt to switch things up once every 4 years or maybe every 2 years. I think the fact it is switched would mean that you get more neutral fans attending as it isnt something that is on their doorstep every year etc.

Challenge Cup for mine, Play off's and Grand Final just another money making gimmick from Sky, the best team of the year wins the hubcap which should be hailed as a great achievement but it is overshadowed by the play off's, any team from top 8 can win Grand final, don't get me wrong it's nice to win the Grand final but it ain't got the same prestige as the Challenge Cup, bring back 1 plays 2 in a grand final without any play off's, would give all team more incentive to finish at the top of the leagued rather than some aiming for mid table and still being in with a chance of glory

I don't agree with the playoffs, but as long as they are in existence then I would rather win the GF than finish top although finishing top should see you crowned Champions. If I could only win one trophy a season though, it would be the Challenge Cup.
